What it does
- Splits any selection of bodies into individual CATParts, pick as many as you need from the active study, get one clean output file per body.
- Keeps full modeling history when needed, for bodies designed without cross-references, output parts retain the original feature tree, still editable end to end.
- Or produces lightweight publication-based results, for everything else, output parts carry a stable, disconnected result geometry with no risk of unwanted updates flowing back.
- Carries the properties that matter, optionally transfers valuable custom properties forward, or drops the ones that no longer apply to a standalone part.
- Names things consistently, descriptions, revisions, and body names follow your configured conventions automatically, output after output.
How it works
Choose which of the two ways you want the split to behave, select the bodies to turn into parts, point to where they should land, and confirm. Each output file appears in your chosen folder, already named, described, and revisioned the same way every time, no post-processing required.
