Retyping a part number into an email, or copy-pasting a description field one character at a time because the properties dialog won’t let you select it cleanly, it’s a small thing, but it happens dozens of times a day. Copy in Clipboard turns every relevant piece of metadata on your current part, product, or selection into a single click that lands the value exactly where you need it: your clipboard.

What it does

• Reads every relevant field at once, part numbers, names, file paths, descriptions, and nomenclature are all available the moment you open it, no digging through menus.
• Adapts to what you’ve selected, work from the document itself, or from a multi-object selection, and get the same one-click experience either way.
• Speaks your team’s language, configure your own custom fields once, and they show up as named buttons alongside the standard ones from then on.
• Combines values in one go, pick more than one piece of information and copy them together as a single, ready-to-paste entry.

How It Works

Launch the tool and choose whether to work with the active document or the current selection. Available properties are displayed as dedicated buttons for quick access. Click the value you need, or combine multiple properties into a single output, and copy the result directly to the clipboard for immediate use in any application.
